Quick Easter Post

This will be a short one, There is a “Ghost Hunting Adventures” show, and the location is at a location I know well, it’s about 20 mins from my home. So excited! It’s Called the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, Ca. It turns out this place has a lot of paranormal activity. I could have told you that!

Well here it is, I made this center piece for my table to display at Easter, and wanted to share it with you all. I used some twigs I grabbed from the backyard. I added some cute festive colors and maggie’s to help cute up things. I also would like to enter my Easter tree in these challenges:

Magnolia-licious – All about spring

Midweek Magnolia’s – My Favorite Stamp

The Play date CafĂ© – Color

To craft or not…

I mentioned that I may stop crafting, but the reason was not because I ever stopped enjoying it. It was more because I couldn’t enjoy it. I don’t have much spare time, and so when I found time, it was a pain in the butt to try and find everything I needed to get a project done. It’s not just card making that is my passion, I like to try new things too, like staining glass, painting and altered arts, etc.. So as you can imagine I have a lot of stuff. I don’t have a craft room, or dedicated space area for that matter. Coming from a larger home in Arizona, I had that luxury, but here in California our house is considerably smaller. When I mentioned to my husband the possibility of just stopping, and selling everything, he helped me think of a solution that might just work. I bought a big enough cabinet to store everything in, and it’s enclose.. so people won’t see my mess inside. Take a look

It’s pretty big and the inside is all open too. I bought some storage units (went shopping in the parents bargain basement) to add inside it. This will help me have my things easily accessible, as opposed to in the garage, under this cabinet here, and that closet there. I can’t wait to show you once it’s organized and my stuff is inside. I was thinking of frosting the glass so you can’t see my stuff, but then again it’s a good spot to display my creations! Thanks for checking out my blog today and I hope to be posting something real soon. ~ Angela

Reading is food for the soul..

Here’s a card I made yesterday. I never used these color’s and thought I should give it a try. Over at saturated canary the challenge is to be inspired by a book, who’s not inspired by a good read right? I’m currently reading “Packing for Mars” It’s a pretty funny read. Things about space no one really thinks of questioning, like how the astronauts showered. Well they didn’t on the Apollo, and it’s pretty darn funny that their underwear disintegrated! So here is my card I tried gold embossing around the edges, it came out ok. I just love this image from Saturated canary. I would like to enter my card in

Saturated Canary: Read all about it

Corrosive #169 : All that Glitters

Cute Card Thur: Anything goes

Here is a side View

Thanks for checking out my creation ~ Angela

And the winner is...

Quickest Blog Candy EVER!!

I have been saying for a while now that I have some candy to share with you. It’s crazy how much time taking a picture and posting it could take. Furthermore, since I have never offered blog candy I was wondering how I would link it etc. It got to be to dang complicated. So my thought was that candy should be given the way it’s eaten (at least the way I eat it) You dream about it for a minute, put it your mouth and it’s gone before you know it. So with that being said here is the candy.. (plus more, I just couldn’t photograph it all)

I will pick a winner in 3 days, so on march 16th. All you have to do is leave a comment and *(if you know how to)* post the picture of the candy and link it to my blog on your side bar, that would be great. Be sure to check back on the 16th to see if you won! I would love for you to be a follower, but that is not necessary to win this candy. Be sure to include your name on the comment section. At this time I can only ship within the US. Good luck ~ Angela

Footloose

Boy, am I taking advantage of my spring break! I am trying to get the most I can into this short week. I know the need for this card will be here sooner than later, and I wanted to make sure I had it ready for the occasion. One of my dearest friends is going through a divorce, and although this is not a happy time in her life, it’s important I help her see the good in the bad. I feel good when I can make her laugh. Her divorce will be final soon, and so the inside will say, “I believe it’s time for an upgrade!” I added my own writing for the sentiment; I just didn’t have time to fuss with my printer. I just say I love this image! So cute, and I am pleased with the way my card turned out, although coloring reds are always a challenge for me. I would love to enter my card in the Whiff of joy sketch challenge #149. So here it is.. and Thanks for Looking ~

Hi Blog Friends. I am in the process of taking pictures of some yummy blog candy. I have a lot to be grateful for, and I just want to share that with some one. Another thing going on is, I am in the midst of a crafting crisis, lmbo. In all seriousness, I just don’t know if I am going to continue crafting. I’ll speak more on that in a later post. But for today, I just wanted to have a little fun. Tilda is always so much fun to color up. I am entering this card in these challenges:
